Tax Category name:
Tax category is useful at the time of Category master.
Description:
Short Description or name of the Tax Category, this will be used at Report Creating.
Extended Description:
Detailed Description of the Tax Category, sometimes useful at Report and Retail Counter.
Short Name:
Very Short Description or "Alias" of the Tax Category, helpful in searching the category from the search-list.
Active Status :
When checked, this tax category is treated as Active and available in all search-lists in Category master. The Inactive tax category are not available in the search-lists, however you can get reports for all tax category regardless of its Active Status.


How To:


Add NewTax Category :

Note: Before Creating Statewise tax the tax category and tax type is necessary , At the time of category creation tax category is also important

  1. Select Setting from Menu bar. .
  2. Select Tax Specification and click on Tax Category, the tax category grid page will get open up.
  3. Now,Select Add new tax category from the tasks, The tax category master page will get open up.
  4. Specify the tax Category name and if necessary specify description, extended description & short name.
  5. Tick the status active.
  6. Click on Save button


Edit the existing Tax category:

  1. Select Setting from Menu bar. .
  2. Select Tax Specification and click on Tax Category, the tax category grid page will get open up.
  3. Select the list from the Tax Type table and then click on Edit the existing from tax. The tax type page will get open up.
  4. Now Modify the entry you wnt to edit.
  5. Click On Save button
