Attributes Master

• An attribute is a quality or feature regarded as a characteristic or inherent part of someone or something.
• Basically appart from Dimension(Color,brand,size,style) as per your requirement you can specify some extra features which we call as Attributes.

Attribute Name:
The attribute identifier, also called attribute name, is a string that identifies an attribute. An attribute value is the content of the attribute and its type is not restricted to that of string.
Description:
Short Description or name of the Attributes, this might be useful for report.
Extended Description:
Detailed Description of the Attributes, generally it is not much use but to know the detail information of attributes.
Active Status :
When checked, this Attributes is treated as Active and available in all search-lists in Article master at setting for attribute name in attribute tag page. The Inactive Attributes are not available in the search-lists, however you can get reports for all Attributes regardless of its Active Status.
List of key value for Attribute:
The following are the useful field while specifying the list of key value for attributes as follow:

1. Key Values:
   Key values is the list of all the key values which you going to attach with the same attribute name and this will be useful at article master while creating attribute and its value.
2. Default value:
   If default for the key value is checked active its mean this value is default set in article master.
3. Short name:
   Very Short Description or "Alias" of the Attribute, helpful in searching the Attribute from the search-list while feeding Article master
4. Active status:
   When checked, this key value is treated as Active and available in all search-lists in Article master at setting for key value and default value in attribute tag page. The Inactive Attributes are not available in the search-lists, however you can get reports for all Attributes key value regardless of its Active Status.

Add New Attribute

1. Click On Inventory from menu bar.
2. Select Dimensions and then click on Attributes.
3. Now,An attribute grid page will get open.
4. Select Add Attribute from Tasks.
5. Now,An Attribute master page will get open.
6. First, Specify the attribute name and if necessary as per your requirement specify description and Extended description.
7. Now, Tick the active status to activate the attribute.
8. Assign Key values for Attribute.
9. Save Now.

Edit Existing Attribute

1. Click On Inventory from menu bar.
2. Select Dimensions and then click on Attributes.
3. Now,An attribute grid page will get open.
4. Select list from table and Click On Edit the existing Attribute from Tasks.
5. Now,An Attribute master page will get open.
6. Now start Editing the details of field.
7. Save Now.

Assign Key Value

1. Specify the key values into table for same attribute name.
2. Tick active status for key value..
3. Save Now.

Set Default Value

1. Tick on default value into table w.r.t key value.
2. Tick on active status to activate the default value on key value..
3. Save Now.
