How to | See Also | Summary

• An item can be of two type first is Countable and another one is non countable
• For assigning UOM( Unit of measurement) into category ,the user have to first know in which type they have to measure an item or article number.
• Countable item can not measure it is counted. Example:No of shirts etc
• Whereas Non countable item can be measured. Example:weight of vegetable

Kg. (kilogram):
It is used in category when the item or article number is Non-Countable Or measurable type
Example:Any thing which have weight property like Misc item like Dal are non countable item and measurable Property.
Pcs. (Pieces):
It is used in category when the item or article number is Countable type.
Example:Any thing which have counting property like readymade shirt Pieces are countable item
Mtr (Meter) :
It is used in category when the item or article number is Non-Countable Or measurable type
Example:Fabic item have measurable property

• Add New Unit of measurement
• Edit The existing Unit of Measurement

Add New Unit of measurement:

Click On Inventory from menu bar.

Select Unit of Measurement from the list.

Now,Unit of Measurement Grid Page will get open up.

Select on Add New Unit of measurement from Tasks.

Now,Unit of Measurement Master page will get Open.

First,Specify UOM name

Then, select the Measurement Type

Click On Save button.

Edit The existing Unit of Measurement:

Click On Inventory from menu bar.

Select Unit of Measurement from the list.

Now,Unit of Measurement Grid Page will get open up.

Now select on Edit The existing Unit of Measurement from Tasks.

Unit of Measurement Master page will get Open.

Edit the field you have to modify

Click On Save button.
