• State master in the software is very useful for making State-wise tax structure.
• Not only for statewise tax, it is also used to locate the locality of any city

State:
State is used to locate the sub region inside it like city and locality of any specific region or country
Country/ Region:
Country is used to locate the state inside any region
Status:
if active status is tick then only it will fetch the State while creating party or making any order
Octroi/Entry Tax(%):
It is the entry tax percentage charge on any state entry

• Add New State
• Edit New State

Add New State :

Click On Settings from menu bar.

Select Locality, Now Click on State.

Now The State page will get open, Select on Add new State from Tasks, State Master page will get Open.

First,Specify State name.

Specify Country/ Region to locate the state into country or region.

Tick the active status on.

Specify the tax charge on entry in the state.

Click on Save button.

Edit the existing Locality :

Click On Settings from menu bar.

Select Locality, Now Click on State.

Now The State page will get open, Select on Edit the existing state from Tasks, State Master page will get Open.

Modify, the field you want to modify

Click on Save button.
